POLICE would like to speak to drivers who were heading into Lerwick this morning (Wednesday) and witnessed a white Volkswagen Caddy van allegedly crossing double white lines to overtake four vehicles.

A spokeswoman said the incident of dangerous driving occurred on the A970 at Tingwall at around 8.35am.

Police in Shetland can be contacted via the 101 telephone number.
