News / Gadderin Tae Mind

A REMEMBRANCE service is being held at the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick on Thursday to give those who have experienced loss during pregnancy or shortly after birth the chance to reflect.

NHS Shetland is teaming up with stillbirth and neonatal death charity SANDS Shetland to hold the inaugural Gadderin Tae Mind service at the hospital’s sanctuary area at 6.30pm.

The health board’s spiritual care lead Dawn Allan will facilitate the event with senior charge midwife Elaine McCover giving a reading. SANDS representative Beverley Lamming will also take part.
