A BANFF registered pelagic trawler was towed into Lerwick Harbour on Saturday morning after suffering engine failure.

The 64m Resolute fell into trouble west of Fair Isle and it was towed into the harbour’s south entrance by another trawler, the Forever Grateful.

The vessel was then handed over to the two harbour tugs, who towed the trawler into Shetland Catch where it discharged its herring.

The Resolute arrived into the harbour at around 5am.
