TWO fire engines from Brae and Hillswick were called out to the Sella Ness accommodation block on Saturday evening.

However when they arrived at the 850 bed facility housing Petrofac employees and contractors working on the Shetland Gas Plant, the fire in the laundry room had already been extinguished.

A spokeswoman for the fire and rescue service said a heat exchanger had suffered smoke and water damage. No one was injured.
