A TWENTY six year old man is in custody after police raided a house in Lerwick on Tuesday and seized heroin with an estimated street value of £11,000.
A spokesman said that the seizure was the result of “determined action from the police to act on information provided by the public.”
He added: “The disruption of drugs misuse and supply on Shetland continues and can only progress with support and information provided by the community
A report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
