Materials Controller
Lerwick Engineering and Fabrication
Location: Greenhead Base, Lerwick, Shetland
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re looking for a practical and organised Materials Controller to help manage stock, deliveries, and material flow across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing materials and deliveries
- Keep stock records up to date and accurate
- Work with the procurement and project teams to ensure materials are available when needed
- Track and report on material usage
- Help reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Follow safe handling and storage procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a materials, stores, or logistics role (engineering/fabrication experience is a bonus)
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using inventory or ERP systems
- Forklift licence and driving licence are helpful but not essential
- A team player with good communication skills
