SERCO NorthLink has brought forward the departure of Monday night’s southbound sailing to beat adverse weather conditions and low water at the entrance to Aberdeen harbour.

The Hjaltland will now leave Lerwick for Aberdeen at 5.30pm, 90 minutes ahead of its schedule.

There will be no northbound sailing as NorthLink’s second passenger vessel Hrossey is in drydock until the middle of the month.
