Letters / Public inquiry needed
I think a public inquiry needs to be held into the SIC’s desperately poor handling of the Viking Energy wind farm with serious questions to be answered, not least why they have continued to support a project which has so much objection.
It states: “The only justification required for a public enquiry is the existence of public concern.”
The blame for this mess lies firmly in the hands of the council. As the SNP have little interest north of the populated central belt, and SSE are a big company looking to maximise profits at any cost, our own council saw fit to roll out the red carpet at every opportunity and should be held accountable.
