Election letters 2019 / Drawn to the opportunities of independence
It’s more than embarrassing that Westminster Labour politicians have done more to stand up for democracy in Scotland in recent weeks than their Holyrood colleagues.
It’s time for Richard Leonard to stand up for what’s right after John McDonnell and Jeremy Corbyn have made clear they would not stand in the way of a referendum on Scotland’s future.
Polls aside, you can tell by talking to people on the street that more and more folk are drawn to the opportunities of independence.
And if Scottish Labour block the people of Scotland from having their say they’ll become even more irrelevant to local voters. I’d be keen to know what our Scottish labour candidate, Johan Adamson, thinks on this issue.
