Whalsay ferry breaks down

THE WHALSAY ferry service was disrupted on Monday after the Hendra broke down.

The Filla stood in on the route briefly alongside the Linga to provide near normal service while repairs were carried out.

It comes after repeated disruption on the Yell Sound route in recent weeks which included the Dagalien being late in returning to Shetland after a refit.
