Letters / ‘You will get fleas’
I find myself in complete agreement with Fiona Grahame (Tavish: MP case is a ‘political show trial’; SN, 9/11/15).
In my time in Shetland, I had occasion to seek advice or help from Mr Carmichael on both personal and political matters.
I found him to be a good constituency MP, giving prompt and honest replies to queries, or pointing me in the right direction to get the answers I required.
Alistair’s downfall was being in coalition with the Tories in government.
He is the embodiment of the aphorism: “If you lie down with dog, you will get fleas”.
The MSP meanwhile, was good for opening things and giving out prizes
