Letters / Higher price for half the service

Royal Mail want to maintain the six-day delivery for First Class mail, but want to deliver Second Class mail every second day!

This was made public the day after stamps at both levels went up in price, so we will be paying a higher price for half the service at Second Class!

I do wonder what our MP will have to say about the effect of this on Shetland, bearing in mind that he was part of the UK Government that privatised Royal Mail!

I have my wry smile at the ready.
