Business / Sound Service Station to go up for sale

SOUND Service Station in Lerwick is set to go on the market.

Owners Jordan and Gemma Thomason said in a post on social media that they are putting the business up for sale due to family reasons.

The couple bought the shop in 2016 and have grown the business steadily since.

They said running the shop seven days a week, through to 10pm is “very much a lifestyle”, with the pair putting the business on the market to address the “work to family balance”.

“Nothing will change in the meantime in the day to day running of the shop,” the Thomasons wrote.

“We will still be working away as hard as we always do and trying our best to provide the customer service that everyone now expects from us.”

The pair added that they will continue with their Sound Butchers and Shetland Biltong ventures.
