Letters / How is everybody faring?
Does anyone feel they have had this virus other than the ones who were initially tested? The whole thing seems to be shrouded in secrecy, everyone wondering if it’s raging through the community.
Could it be a possibility that here in Shetland the folk that were initially in contact with those affected self-isolated so quickly that we may have curbed the spread significantly?
I for one would love to know what is going on out there. After Up Helly As every man and his dog got ill with what we now believe to have been Swine flu. Every second post on Facebook was someone telling how poorly they felt.
I have only seen two posts about folk having, or thinking they have coronavirus. Are folk ashamed to say they have it? Is it the new leprosy?
Instead of everyone arguing over where others are walking could we perhaps post on how everyone is faring physically? I have heard of no members of my family, friends or work colleagues having had any signs of it.
