A brief glimpse of an old friend
THE NORWEGIAN sail traing ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl paid a brief 11 hour visit to Lerwick harbour on Friday before heading back to Bergen where she had sailed from.
This was the century-old three-masted vessel’s only trip to Shetland before the end of the summer, when she returns twice in September, though she will be making trips to Orkney in May and Faroe in August.
