Letters / Will not visit again
My message is short. I will not be visiting the Shetland Islands next spring as planned. I will in no way support the people who are involved in developing wind turbines and thereby putting others at risk with health effects, stress and decreased value of life.
It would be too sad for us to come, let alone the fact that we would never feel comfortable in a place surrounded by wind turbines. They are too representative of GREED and inhumanity.
Our thoughts will continue to be with those poor souls whose lives are being diminished, if not destroyed by greedy wind developers and desperate money loving landowners who are too stupid to say “NO!”.
I’m sure glad that I had the chance to visit in 1998. Never again.
