Letters / Why bother with Scotland?
I see the contract for the ferry is coming up for renewal. (Ferry frustration bubbles over once again, SN, 9 March 12)
What I can’t understand is, if the Scottish government owns NorthLink Ferries, why is the contract up for renewal and how can it tender against itself?
Reading about the problems the SIC is having with the Scottish government, I think you should sever all links and trade. With Norway there would be fewer problems.
