Carpetbagging?

Hyperbole does not a business case make when it comes to the Unst space race (Shetland’s place in space sector ‘compelling’; SN, 29 May 2018).

Beware of carpetbagging space cadets, inept enough to miss out on the UK Space Agency’s competition and funding, who now, in my opinion, have their eyes firmly fixed on the council’s millions!
