News / GP threat warning
A MOSSBANK man who threatened a locum GP at the Walls health centre last month has been warned that he must cooperate with social workers or go back to jail.
John Harding, of 23 Leaside, Mossbank, admitted threatening the woman doctor and struggling violently with police officers when they turned up at the surgery on 23 August.
The 39 year old appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday after spending a week in Aberdeen prison on remand. Sheriff Philip Mann deferred sentence for the man to receive background reports.
He also released him on bail, warning that if he did not assist in the process then he would return to jail. Harding is due to reappear in court on 17 October.
