News / Tickets sell in record time
ALL 400 additional tickets for the Bill Bailey show at the Clickimin Leisure Centre next month were snatched up in just 37 minutes yesterday (Friday).
Shetland Box Office, at the Islesburgh Community Centre, opened at 9am to a long queue of punters waiting patiently.
A spokesman for Islesburgh said that by 9.37am all 400 tickets had been sold. Some people had waited for at least two and a half hours.
The additional tickets for the comedian’s live show on 26 May were made available after the promoter changed the format of the gig to allow more people into the hall.
The first 700 tickets had been sold within a day, last week.
