THE OCCUPANTS of two Vauxhall cars which crashed on the main A970 at Girlsta just before 9am on Thursday escaped unhurt, police said.
Two fire appliances joined police at the scene to help clear the road of fuel and disconnect the vehicle batteries, but the ambulance was stood down before it arrived.
One eye witness one silver and one black car were involved in the crash. The black one ended up extensively damaged in a field, while the silver one was on the verge.
