A MAN was treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Fetlar on Tuesday morning.
Council ferries were tasked to enable appliances from Yell and Unst to attend the scene after the alarm was raised at around 3.40am.
The man was treated at the scene after the fire was extinguished just before 6am.
Firefighters meanwhile were sent to extinguish a forklift which caught fire on the A970 near Sandwick on Monday afternoon.
There were delays to traffic as crew dealt with the blaze, which lasted for around 45 minutes.
