News / More ferry sailing disruption
WEDNESDAY’s NorthLink ferry sailing from Lerwick to Kirkwall and Aberdeen left around five hours early due to poor weather.
The Hrossey departed after midday in an effort to avoid the worst of the high winds.
The northbound Hjaltland, however, is scheduled to leave Aberdeen at 7pm as scheduled.
On Thursday, the Hjaltland will now depart Lerwick at 4pm, with its arrival into Aberdeen on Friday subject to possible delays.
Wednesday evening’s Helliar freight sailing has been postponed until 3pm on Thursday.
