News / Bailed over driving charge
A MAN from Lerwick was released on bail after appearing from custody at the town’s Sheriff Court on Wednesday charged with driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
A trial date has been set for 31 March next year after Magnus Thomson, of 4 Sletts Road, pleaded not guilty to two charges.
The 32-year old is accused of driving while unfit through drink or drugs at the Queens Place/Annsbrae Place roundabout in Lerwick on Tuesday (15 December).
He is also charged with failing to give a blood sample at Lerwick police station on the same day.
