Collision at Black Gaet junction

TWO people were taken to hospital for observation following an accident at the Black Gaet junction on the A970 Lerwick to Sumburgh road this morning.

According to Police Scotland, one vehicle was turning into the Black Gaet road while the other was travelling north when the collision took place at 9.27am.

The road was said to have been closed for around an hour and neither motorist sustained injury.
