The new owners are said to take delivery of the 14 year old vessel next month.

Skipper Davie Hutchison confirmed on Thursday that an agreement has been reached but added that it "could still take a few weeks" until the sale was concluded.

The 71-metre Charisma is currently undergoing a refit in Denmark and is due to return to Shetland before leaving for Iceland.

Hutchison said that the Charisma Fishing Company has not signed for a new vessel yet.
