A position has arisen for a Warehouse Operative at a Client Site.
Reporting to the Warehouse Focal Point, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the safe and efficient distribution and receipt of materials at the SGP Warehouse.
The post holder will undertake all administrative duties in relation to goods inwards, stock control, inventory management, shipment and return of material including but not limited to manifests, dangerous goods declarations, backload, despatch notes and the like related to SGP activities.
Responsible for the accurate receipt and unpacking of all deliveries of material, verifying quantity, condition and certification etc. and updating the company SAP and stock control systems accordingly. Select stock from pick lists. Prepare and re-package goods to offshore standards in readiness for shipment. Prepare return cargo, despatching material to relevant party. Perform inventory count stock checks. Operate site forklifts as required and assist with the receipt and unpacking of deliveries of material. Applicants should be familiar with SAP and be able to use Microsoft Outlook.
The successful candidate will have a commitment to health and safety and excellent communication skills. This is a customer facing role, and as such a focus on delivering excellent customer service, consistent with Peterson values is essential, as is a Driving Licence for this role.
