ESPL is an employee-owned international regulatory consultancy based in Shetland. We support pharmaceutical/medical device companies with licensing healthcare products. Our enthusiastic and diverse team are looking for a recent/upcoming science/maths graduate to support a new project reviewing and piloting improvements to our regulatory submissions processes using specialised software.

Reporting to the Submissions Manager, the full-time (37.5 hrs/week) role will involve:

  •  Review and formulation of improvements to the existing publishing system supporting regulatory submissions for new medicines and medical devices
  •  Refining the submissions planning process, including updating associated SOPs and working alongside scientific experts to create and maintain e-CTD submissions.

Skills required:

  • An eye for detail and good critical thinking skills
  • Good communication and time management skills

Some familiarity with .xml, or database systems would be helpful, but is not essential, as training will be given.

Initially this will be a 1-year contract, with the potential for conversion to a permanent role and career progression for the right candidate.
