The Company

DITT Construction Ltd is one of the largest construction companies within Shetland. Our range of knowledge, expertise and ability allows us to undertake projects of all sizes, ranging from large scale Civil Engineering developments to Commercial and Industrial, right down to smaller scale domestic works.  The company premises include a builder’s merchants’ operation with an extensive stock, serving the retail and trade market.

Due to our continued growth, we are now looking to expand our workforce. Hiring multiple candidates.

 

The Position

  • Full-time candidates preferred but part-time will also be considered.
  • Lerwick based.
  • Competitive rate of pay.
  • Monday – Friday, 39 hours.
  • Wages paid weekly.
  • Overtime available.
  • Relevant PPE provided.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strict compliance with relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Awareness of environmental regulations.
  • Working as part of a team delivering building projects.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Experience working within a construction environment.
  • Willingness to work additional hours when required.
