Are you an experienced project manager who is passionate about arts in the community? This part-time job role presents a real opportunity to help shape the future of local cultural life. The Culture Collective Project Manager will deliver new opportunities for creative practitioners and communities to work collaboratively, developing ways of responding to the impacts of the ongoing pandemic and build community resilience.
The post is hosted by Shetland Arts and the successful candidate will work across the four partners: An Lanntair (Isle of Lewis and Harris), Pier Arts Centre (Orkney), Shetland Arts Development Agency (Shetland) and Taigh Chearsabhagh Trust (North Uist). This is an ambitious and exciting project, aiming to secure a legacy of positive creative engagement as a crucial part of service provision for some of our most vulnerable island communities.
The role is integral to the success of this project and will include the management of freelancers and practitioners; admin and logistics, managing budgets; facilitating knowledge exchange; accurate and timely statistical and narrative evaluation and reporting; representing the consortium nationally.
