Grieg Seafood Shetland Ltd is recruiting for the following position:
Based in Scotland and reporting to the Regional Director:
You may have experience or a background in public affairs, the media or politics and understand the UK political landscape. You will have good judgement and excel at working collaboratively with others. You will be organised, unflappable and above all, enthusiastic.
You will work with the Global Communications Manager on delivery of our programmes, supporting and influencing our plans in the UK with Government and other key stakeholders. You will establish partnerships and build alliances with stakeholders to support our vision.
We believe with its current low carbon footprint; salmon farming is uniquely placed to lead the way towards carbon neutral meat production in the future. You would be part of a global group leading the way within the salmon sector, where we believe we can produce healthy environmentally sustainable food while helping to support fragile local communities.

The successful candidate will be politically aware and social media savvy. Ideally up to 3 years work experience or work placements is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field is essential.
