The NAFC Marine Centre is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to join its busy aquaculture training team. The successful applicant will assist in the development, delivery and assessment of a range of training courses for the aquaculture industry.

Applicants should have a Scottish Vocational Qualification in Aquaculture at Level 3, or equivalent, and a good working knowledge and experience of fish husbandry and fish farm production. Applicants should also have, or will be expected to achieve, an SVQ Assessor award.

The successful candidate will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG Scheme) or undergo a PVG Scheme Update. Some out-of-hours work and travel outside Shetland will also be required.
