AWARD-winning folk band Peatbog Faeries have been announced as the headliner for this year's Hogmanay celebrations at Mareel.
The Skye based group will open a variety concert featuring performances from local musicians, with a supper then following.
Films will be shown on Mareel's cinema screens before Peatbog Faeries return for a full set to bring in the bells.
After midnight revellers can close the night with Mareel's mixology DJs and the Alan Nicholson Dance Band.
Last year's event was headlined by The Revellers, with Fiddlers' Bid performing in 2016.
The event has again been supported through Scotland's Winter Festivals, which aims to promote the country's winter season.
Two separate tickets are available for the Mareel celebrations, with the variety concert costing £30 and the bells and dance priced at £40.
A ticket combining both can be bought for £60, although between 12-14 October it will be priced at £55.
Tickets are on sale from 12 October online, over the phone on 01595 745500 or in person at Mareel.
