THE TOLL Clock Shopping Centre in Lerwick is being put up for sale 30 years after it first opened.
It is going on the market due to the retirement of one of its directors and the owners' intentions to concentrate on their own interests.
Current landlord Bolts Shetland Ltd has owned and operated the isles' only shopping centre, which has over 50 tenants, since it was opened in 1988.
"We have mixed feelings placing the shopping centre on the market for sale as it has been part of our lives for such a long and successful time," the company said in a statement.
"The shopping centre continues to go from strength to strength and we feel that the time has now come to pass on this unique opportunity".
