A TRIO of top music and comedy events in Shetland have been announced.
US comic Rich Hall will return to the isles on 21 February with his Hoedown show, which promises to blend "stand-up comedy, improvised ballads and cracking good musicianship".
He will perform at the bowls hall at the Clickimin after selling well in Mareel last year.
Promoter Beyond Presents will also bring up to Shetland hot-property traditional rockers Tide Lines in March as part of a wider UK tour.
The Scottish band - who are one of the fastest selling acts at Glasgow's Celtic Connections - will hit the stage at Mareel on 16 March.
Tickets for both events are on sale now.
Local guitar duo Alan McKay and Robert Bennet, meanwhile, will launch their first album Ocean Breeze in Lerwick at the weekend.
The pair will perform at the Islesburgh Community Centre on Sunday (26 November) from 3pm in an event hosted by Shetland Jazz and World Sounds.
The record is being released on the FMR label and Bennet said the album is dedicated to "all our friends who have encouraged us to make a recording over the years".
Entrance to the concert is £10 and includes a CD.
