Powered by twin 420hp Cat engines, the Compass Rose arrived in Cullivoe on Saturday after being shipped from the Mediterranean to Southampton, where Tulloch took over and steamed north.

It is set to become the first tour boat in Unst and Yell once it is ready later this summer.

"I'm going to do angling trips and tourism trips up in Hermaness and Muckle Flugga," Tulloch said.

"There's a great bird colony up there, and with Muckle Flugga you can say you've been to the most northerly point in Britain."

He also plans to take on workboat charters.
