AMERICAN singer-songwriter Willy Mason and a Johnny Cash tribute band are set to visit Shetland in the next couple of weeks.
Mason, who has been described as recalling "Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash along with the cynicism of grunge and punk", will play the Lerwick Legion on 26 June with Arthur Nicholson as support.
Cash, who pay homage to the country icon, will return to Shetland to perform at Mareel in Lerwick on 30 June before playing Cullivoe's Party on the Pier event the following evening.
Tickets for the Mason show are on sale from High Level Music in Lerwick and the Ticketmaster and Beyond Presents websites.
Fans wanting to see Cash in Lerwick can buy tickets from the Shetland Arts Box Office, while tickets for the Yell gig can be bought from High Level Music and local shops in Yell.
It doesn't end there for music fans though, with English country soul songstress Yola Carter due to perform at the Lerwick Legion on 23 June and Sandwick's Carnegie Hall a day later.
Meanwhile, tickets are on sale for Lucy Spraggan's return to the isles via the Shetland Arts Box Office.
The former X Factor contestant will play Mareel on 22 October.
