Comet graces northern sky

| Written by Shetland News

COMET Pan-STARRS continues to delight stargazers in Shetland as it makes its way across the sky of the northern hemisphere.

Lerwick photographer Austin Taylor managed to take this photo from Burra at around 8pm on Tuesday night.

Taylor said: “Until tonight I had been defeated by the weather and by circumstance; not sure there will be too many chances to see it again unless the weather plays fair!  If it does, it’s possibly going to remain visible till the end of the month, with binoculars.”
