LOCAL folk-rockers The Revellers will help Lerwick take in 2018 in style at Shetland Arts' upcoming Hogmanay event at Mareel.
The group will be joined on the bill by acts such as Kansa, The Arthur Nicholson Band and Hom Bru, while the Alan Nicholson Dance Band will cap things off.
The night will kick off with an acoustic set from The Revellers before a variety style concert, with the band reappearing for a full set to see in the bells.
Supper will also be served and Mareel's cinema screens will be open to the public.
The New Year's Eve shindig - which last year saw Fiddlers' Bid perform - has received support from Scotland's Winter Festivals, which is a fund managed by EventScotland on behalf of the Scottish Government.
Shetland Arts general manager Graeme Howell said: "We're really excited to be working with The Revellers on this year's Hogmanay celebrations.
"This year really builds on what we started last year with Fiddlers' Bid in creating a fun, safe and friendly Hogmanay event that celebrates the best of Shetland's music scene."
The Revellers added: "We are delighted to take part in this year's Hogmanay celebration at Mareel.
"Some of the band were at last year's event hosted by Fiddlers' Bid as both performing artistes and concertgoers and all agreed it was a great evening.
"We hope we can replicate that party atmosphere in our own way for this year's event and really look forward to having a good night with some good friends both on and off-stage to welcome 2018."
Two tickets are available for the night - one for the variety concert for £30, and one for the bells and dance for £35.
A combination package providing access to both elements will also available for £50. Tickets are on sale from Friday at www.shetlandarts.org, over the phone on 01595 745500 or in person at Mareel.
